I'm a n00b. I got mine almost the last day of August 2011 and I've got 56 or 57 hours on it I think. I fear I'm one with more hours on TBN than on my tractor
(but I'm on TBN mostly when it is dark, or I am at w o r k :thumbsup

.
I broke a hyd line when a small cedar came through the grapple, and that also unscrewed a nut on the FEL & that eventually broke another nut/stud off, both of which the dealer fixed for free.
I bought a tractor earlier than planned, and bigger and newer than planned for VERY similar reasons to those the OP stated.
That said, I love my tractor and now that I'm not building horse fence (for a short while) I will get more hours again clearing my land.
I intend to use my tractor hard, and give it to one of my yet to be born grandkids when he/she takes over my property...
I really like my dealer (LaVoie in Ashland, VA) and they are a HUGE part of the equation. Bobcat is right at the exit off the freeway to my house, but I like the Kioti dealer better and that was 95% of my decision. Their actions AFTER the sale, and the way they've been with me about attachments etc. has proved I made the right decision. When I'm ready for my 2nd tractor, I will go to LaVoie & Kioti first to see what's availble to fit my needs at that time.
Lastly, SouthernIlTractor, Thank you for your service to this great nation. I truly appreciate your sacrifices and service keeping my family safer. God Bless you & yours and happy retirement!
Be well all,
David
