Is the 7100 notill? I am thinking about a notill four row 7000 corn planter with 36 inch rows (the standard in this part of the world) and am concerned that my 45 hp Kioti is going to have trouble with it. Might have to go with my IH 1066 but see that as overkill.

The 7000 or the 7100 can be equiped with no till coulters. The 7100 I am looking at is equiped with no till coulters. I am trying to decide if I buy it whether to get the no till coulters or swap them for trash whippers. I am leaning toward trash whippers because I don't do much no tilling. 45 hp is plenty of power for pulling it. My 4700 is 48 hp (41 pto ) but my main concern is lifting it on the 3ph and keeping the frontend on the ground. I believe I should be able to.

A 36 inch row is hard to sell up here . it's been 30inch since the 90's and last 3 or 4 years most around here are on 22inch now thats why i'm stuck with my 38 inch (we're on 30 last few years)

We pulled 4 row with 75hp then 6 row with 95hp then 8 row with 145hp I would'nt go any smaller hp wise but we do have extended fert boxes too .

A few pics. The IH is 100hp and had to pull it for a few days last year but was not big enough for 8 row really and harder to keep straight .

Your tractor will lift it easily. Put the extra weights on it.
