- Getting old. Sold the ranch. Sold the tractors. Moved back to the city.
I bought this 13-ft Minneapolis Moline KS1300 (made by Krause) a few years ago. It's too much disc for my 2008 Mahindra 5525 (54 hp engine).


So I cut it down to about 7 ft wide.
Cut about 24 inches off each of the four axle beams. Used an $80 portable band saw from Harbor Freight and a Miwaukee blade. It's a variable speed saw. Ran at real slow speed. Blade cuts the 3"x3"x1/4" tubing like butter.


Used two of the pieces of scrap from the axle beams to make a pair of wheel supports and welded them onto the wheel axle. I left the original wheel supports on the axle.


Welded up a new hitch using a 2" receiver. Use a pintle/lunette hitch.

Ready to roll
