Just curious, but where and by who are the John Deere UTV's made?

Don't quote me, but I do believe JD makes their own UTV's - not the engines though. The older HPX's gas is a Kohler (I believe) and a Yanmar diesel and the new XUV has a chinese gas and a Yanmar diesel.

As far as bucket seats on the HPX, it's a no. At least when I bought. I'm 6' and fit comfortably in the seat of my HPX though. Leg room isn't the greatest but is acceptable.

Gators are built in the us but the parts come from all around also I believe you have to at least go 625i to get a bench seat I have an 825i and like it a lot when I priced the two the price was very close to each other in the gas models

The engine for 825i is made by Chery in China. The rest I don't know.

Thanks, I have seen the evolution of these units and was curious. I live in truly "Green Country", but I have seen only one Gator.

I can't seem to find the MSRP for New Holland Rustler 120 or 125 on the website. Does anyone know what they are?

Thanks
Bob

What do you mean?:confused2:

Although I wasn't around then, and I'm sure someone can clarify for sure, but what I have gathered is from around 1998 until 2000 this forum was strictly Kubota. Due to licensing they changed the name and made it open to all brands. I think going back that far to when it was all Kubota is a little much for a "slanted" opinion though.

You Gus can say what you want but look at the thread counts on Kubota verse all others witch would imply there are twice as many Kubota people on this forum
