72 inch Rachet Rake on sale at TSC $199

Thanks for the tip. TBN ought to be getting a commission. I picked one up in York PA. There is one left. The computer said there were 2 at the Harrisburg store. The guy who i asked said I was the first person to ask for one. He wasn't sure they had any. As I was looking at it I was thinking that it might not be to hard to make it a 3 point ratchet rake. It is nice and heavy but I'm thinking if I use it on the 3 point I will need to find a way to hang some weights on it.

I talked to the people at Ratchet Rake, and they seem to sell a lot more or the 52 in and the 68 in rake. Therefore the discontinued 72 in at TSC.

You will still be able to get the 72 in Ratchet Rake ,but only from Ratchet Rake at full price.

Their new item is the Rip-N-Dig attachment seen in the last part of the video.

The Ratchet Rakes are in the new catalog from TSC. Somewhere around page 150

Not all the TSC stores stocked the rakes, and some of them only had the smaller rakes.

On page 153 in the TSC catalog. Only 52" and 68" listed

I think we all should thank Bdavis or anyone else for bringing the TSC discontinued Ratchet Rake to our attention.

After talking with the Ratchet Rake people, it seems that the 72 is a poor seller, and you know business, if it don't sell, get something that will.

They seem to indicate that they are not even breaking even on letting the 72 in rake go at that sale price.

So thanks again for the heads up on that item.

The new item, the Rip and Dig will probably go to a few stores at first.

The Rip and Dig is a small scoop and you can mount a hook on the bottom of the scoop for rocks or root work, or for even laying cable or pipe. The Rip and Dig part of the video is at the last couple minutes of the video. Shows the Rip and Dig in action.

Probably won't find one of these in Southern Illinois. I found the last one in Harrisburg, after that, you would have to go to Missouri to get one. Thanks to the op. I would had never bought one for 4 bills, but for 2 bills, the collection grows.

Finally got some time this week and took off my Tooth Bar and hooked up my 72" Rachet Rake on my 60" QA Kioti FEL130. Was shocked did not have to make any modification's to the Rake, One of the outside lower tabs fit on the inside of the bucket and the Kioti bucket has a lip on it the other outside tab fit the lip perfectly strapped it down and off I went. . I have some thumb's attached. I really like this thing does a great job on the driveway. It will be a great tool to have.

Found more of the 72" units in SW VA. anyone looking for these in SW VA the Roanoke Store has one and also the Bedford store has one. The one in Bedford had mark down tag on it 2 prices on it in 10/11 they marked it down to 299.00 then 12/28/11 they dropped it to 199.00. I wonder when the next price drop is? I got mine about 3 weeks ago in Staunton. It not is kept under my Kioti CK 27 under the trap until I can build as 20X30 car port for my tractor and boat :licking:.

teg: I asked them about shipping to another store and they would not do it. They said the shipping was too expensive and they are probably correct. At the same time if I had to drive 3 hours to get one the fuel and time rule that out for me also.

The Tractor Supply in Bluefield, WV off of 460 has a pristine 72" Ratchet Rake and the hardware all stored inside. In case anyone is looking.:thumbsup:

Not there anymore I decided to buy it myself. To good of a deal to pass up my sweet wife told me to call the store and put it on my CC. I love my wife she is so tolerant of my tractor habit.
