Eco-Boost opinions

Whoa! - Lets all step back and cool off a bit before the thread gets locked. No need to get emotional. We are just talking about trucks here.

I'm going to try and run this through the Ford "Build Your Own", but does anyone know if you can order this engine in a regular cab, short bed, FX4? It would seem to me that combo would be quite a sporty little truck, and just wicked to drive around town.

I had 2 F150s, short bed, regular cab 4x4s that were a blast to drive. And the were also v-6's! Well, a little underpowered in comparision to the Eco-boost, but fun to drive anyway.

What category are you placing yourself in? You were doing a little brand bashing on another current thread about a Ford 6.7 L powerstroke cut-away. Your exact quote was:
"GM knows about customer loyalty, Ford only cares about sales.

If it was not for Cummins, Rams would be a thing of the past. Lets talk about the ISX, and their $3,000+ dollar turbos... Or is that ItSuX??"

I made it a point to mention I am not brand loyal to anyone. I have added valuable posts to this tread and you come in here and post unrelated junk like this. Talk about pointless banter, how about the pot calling the kettle black! Your profile picture is a GMC truck. Did you have any value to add to this thread? If not find another thread.

LOL. Talk about defensive immaturity!! You sound like the person that is correct, even if wrong...

I don't think you can get an fx4 package with a regular cab. I may be wrong though. I also think you have to get at least the supercab for the ecoboost.

Regular cab can have ecoboost. Sat in several of them.

With a * though, we aren't talking the trucks V6 in all those models. There are smaller models too.

Ford is rolling out the Eco-boost from 11 to 20 models this year.

No I am just a person who doesn't appreciate someone jumping head first into a thread calling people retarded, children, learning impaired, slow to learn, defensive, immature, etc.

These remarks were not even directed toward me but I found it harsh. Just an opinion. It is statements like these that create more tension than good.
Peace

Lets talk about the ISX C. What do you want to know? Far as Rams go, the Cummins option is a very small percentage of total sales.

ISX C engines don't have failure prone turbochargers. EGR valving yes.

I have over 15k miles on my 2011 XLT 4X4 3.73 SC with Max tow and HD and 8' box.and use it as a long distance deliverer of myself as a professional and as a farm truck on my time off.

Its quiet.
It handles great and rides great.
Its quiet.
The controls in the cab work like velvet.
Sync is flawless...I suspect those who find it is not so are not computer literate.
I put in 3 way pioneers and the sound is sensational.
I get between 17.5 -20.7 pending my mood and weather.
Remote start aftermarket is the way to go...absolutely delicious up here in the winter. It tows easily, and with 8,900# on my 16' trailer the bumper doesn't even drop at all. It pulls this so easy you think you left it behind.

There are a lot of good trucks...but for me...I would be hard pressed to order something different...maybe if all above and I got 30 mpg.

I sure hope you realize that that is not my quote. I know nothing about them. That is a quote from williambos on another thread.
