Looked at a L5240 yesterday

Has anyone heard rumors of a price increase coming from Kubota? I just received a quote from another dealer and he cautioned me on waiting to buy (plan is first of May) because Kubota is planning a price increase. This was the first i heard of this but if it's true i will buy sooner to avoid paying extra.

I asked that question of a Barlow's a few weeks ago, and was told they know of no planned price increases. News may have come out since then though. They also knew that I am planning to buy before May. So I do not know if that influenced the answer at all.

You can count on parts and equipment price increases early every spring, from pretty much every AG manufacturer. They tend to roll them out at the beginning of buying season.

I would hate to pay more because i waited till May. I'm only waiting because i currently don't have a place to store it inside but will in May, maybe i should buy sooner and store it at my parents place.

I have a similar situation, and plan to do just as you suggested. To me worth a little extra leg work WRT to storage rather than taking the risk of paying more.
