I don't know if a spare fender will be of much use, because the next time it happens it will be on the other side.
Yeah, probably true, but at least I will have a spare fender for Soundguy when he tears up his right side fender, lol...

That link shows some great info, but just adds to my confusion, because as long as these fenders have been out, and as many as I see crunched, if that product worked on the fender composition, they would do well to show it in a video, wouldn't they?

Just be glad its a Ford and not a GM or Dodge or you would be replacing the entire bed side and probably looking a $2000 in repairs.

you can get epoxy made to repair plastic.
In the end.. any adhesive you can use to stick a backer plate to will work.. even something like polyurethane rubber cements.. or construction adhesive.
then sand the crack and fill it.. sand some more.. prime and paint..e tc.
I've fixed plastic atv and tractor fenders many times like that.

i noticed those monolithic sides and wonderd how much they might cost!

Just a guess. My uncle jack knifed his brand new 2005 F-350 SRW 4x4 about a month after he got it putting his boat in the water. He did not have a electric brake controller installed and tired it anyway. It was on the boat ramp at a nasty angle. The boat won. Did no damage to the boat or trailer but took out the tail gate and drives side bed.
They called a wrecker down and the guy left. He did not want the liability. We ended up yanking it back strait enough to pull away with my F-350 and a Tundra.
Anyway, he had $3000 in repairs. About $1000 of that was for the tailgate alone.
