TSC is closing out the 72" below their cost because they found their market consists primarily of the smaller tractors/buckets, according to what the RR folks told me.

Are any bottom brackets supporting the ratchet rake under the bucket?

I have a 54" bucket and hook mine up using the brackets under the bucket with the two center brackets on top...

Has worked well and do not foresee any problems...

Yeah, the ones on the ends are identical to the ones in the center.

Has anyone tried it- with bucket in float position- on ice?
A few years back we 3" of solid ice for weeks. I wonder if those teeth would tear it up.

Tried mine on ice not too long ago..... Didn't work too well for me!!! Although it did put some nice grooves in it for better traction.

Man did I mess up, I should have negotiated with rachet rake on a commision before I started this thread back on Jan 3rd.

I should have known that all TBN users have at least 2 things in common , love for tractors and love for a bargin on an attachment for a tractor !

Seriously, glad it has worked so well for so many. It has been so wet I have never even used mine for what it was intended.

I've used the RR in conjunction with my scarifiers to dig out quite a few LARGE potholes for re-compaction when redoing gravel driveways. It paid for itself in the amount of time it saved me in only a few hours on the first couple of jobs. I've used it on ten or twelve driveways so far and I always have it along now "just in case."

Tried out the RR today. It does pretty good. I have a Bobcat CT230 with a 60" bucket. The 72" rake fits right close to the edge of the bucket. One tab outside and the other tab wad inside the bucket.

It does better on loosed stuff and not so good on making new contour. It does not replace the box blade for this task. It does really good on stuff that allows the rake to sit with even pressure across the whole rake. Example would be in the woods I was clearing a trail and it was wide enough and all on the same grade so the rake was able to push all the leaves and sticks with no problem. As long as you want to go in one direction it works good, in order to keep pressure on the rake, it keeps the front wheels off the ground.

Instead of the ratchet hook up can you mount it to the bucket permately? I'm not in love with ratchet binders, I've broke to many on my trucks binding loads . . .John

The original prototype of the RR was a bolt on, as described and pictured on the website, so presumably it can.
