Agree 100%. I've got the 485 BH on my 4320 and rarely run above 1500 rpm's. Goes a lot smoother. Takes some seat time to get a good hang of the lever controls and become proficient.I agree with the advice to keep the RPM's low. My backhoe manual even states that more RPM's don't give you more power, just more speed. I usually run mine at 1500 RPM, seldom above 1600 RPM for hoe work.
