Loader B3300SU Pallet Forks

If you are only looking to lift 500 lbs, and if you are not going to be using them that much, I would consider saving yourself a lot of money and buying a set of chain on forks.

They can be had off Ebay for $150, and they work well.

I have a set that I have used for moving hay between barns (hay on pallet), moving fence posts, moving cut logs, and picking up a pallets of coated fence material (close to 700 lbs....at the extreme edge of the lifting capacity of my tractor).

With the ratcheting chain pull, they go on in a couple of minutes, and come off more quickly.

The only major disadvantages with them is that the weight is further forward, reducing the lift capability. But if you max at 500 lbs should not be an issue.

I always wanted to thank Ductape for his posts. He helped me to install rear work lights on my 3030.

Back in Feb. or March 2009 I had some help from here when switching out the stock turn/hazard lights in the rear for an LED set on my 3030.
All kinds of helpful and resourceful folks on this forum.

To the OP: If you're keeping the tractor for years to come and only want to mess with forks one time, avoid clamp ons. Been there, done it and was sorry I spent the money. But they were Payne's and about twice the price of Titan's. Expensive lesson learned.
This is in no way a knock against Titan's product, but here are my experiences with clamp ons:
• The screws made nice dents in my bucket bottom.
• Poor/no visibility. You simply cannot see your target through the bucket.
• If you don't hit your target squarely the forks will kick sideways on you. Especially if you put a piece of steel between the screw and your bucket to protect it.
• As someone else mentioned, clamping to your bucket puts the load that much farther out from your lift arms, reducing capacity. You may think that you don't need max capacity at this moment but there may come a time in the future that you'll need or want to lift more.

I would absolutely agree that COF's are not always the best option. But, in some cases, they are the perfect option. Our clamp on forks are a very good quality product at an extremely good price.

With that said, no doubt I would prefer a structural steel fork attachment with forged forks. Solid and handy! You'll have em' forever and you'll love em'.

Your clamp ons are definitely a nice bargain. If memory serves right, I paid about $300 for a set of light duty Payne's back in 2005.
I let them go for $125 in 2010 just to be rid of them when I found an old set of WiFo skid steer forks. But the WiFo's were a little heavy for my LA403 so they've since been sold and replaced.

If ATI is still around, they used to make a "pin on" pallet fork frame for the B3030, so that may be an option. Sounds like you already have the Kubota "QA" for the lighter loader? ATI seemed to go after the attachment market for those of us who didn't have the standard QA setups, so they had a pretty good selection of products that fit on the B3030 Kubota pin-type QA.

I purposely went with the Kubota lighter duty QA (you physically pull the 2 lower pins) as opposed to the skid steer type QA (which has a lot more options for attachments out there) because the skid steer QA would have eaten up too much lifting capacity.

I do have the Kubota fork kit because the price was good enough at the time I purchased the tractor, and it has been a great attachment.
