I am hesitant to take the valve stems out of my tubeless tires and let all the air out- when pumping up a tubeless tire, you have to have a pretty fast airflow in your pump or all the air will just leak out. I'm not sure my pumps are good enough.

Remington, just jack that tire up and then remove the valve..It will be much easier without weight on the wheel and tire..

???? unless the bead pops, you just put the core in, air up and go.. only rarely does a bead roll off the seat on a rim...

Maybe I've just had bad luck, I've had several come off the rim and they're hard to pump up when they're just open to air around the rim.

dunno what to tell ya. I do al my own tires... havn't had any that I couldn't get seated one way or another.

a ratchet strap works on 99% of the cantankerous ones.

If the tirees are that soft with ill fitting beads.. to me.. that would be a sign from above that it was time to tube them.. :)

As the others said.. take the weight off the tire and you are usually good to go..
