Hey there,
Have about 3/4 acres of lawn, surrounded by pines, oaks and maple trees.
Lots and lots of leaves each fall.
My X304 came with the two bag collector on it.
I see my neighbors drive their tractors around with the deck engaged, cutting and picking up leaves at the same time...I figured I would do the same.
Then I saw the the 42" lawn sweeper and was wondering if this would be a better way and why.
I searched but didn't come up with anything.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance

I assume you have the powerflow bagger on your riding mower?

I have never used one of those pull behind sweepers before so I can't help you there. Around here quite a few people seem to use there powerflow bagging system to pick up leaves.

If you don't mind the walking you always have the option of a lawn vacuum. Those seem to work pretty good.

That will fill up in no time. If you have a lot of leaves you need something that will mulch them up before you bag em.

Or the MC519 cart. This will still fill up but not near as fast as the 2 bag system. Keep in mind, this still won't shred the leaves, I think your only option there is a cyclone rake or a lawn vacuum.
