The need to sell it all and buy a trackhoe gold dredge (im sure the permitting will be a nighmare on that!!). The last 2 cleanouts for those guys were like 75 ozs and 90+ ozs. They said there a one day cleanout but i have my doubts on that!

Deere has been selling Hitachi excavators for awhile now. They paint them yellow and put a Deere engine in them instead of the Isuzu that the orange Hitachi's come with. Otherwise, they are the same machines.

1 final drive for that 400 is probably around 15 grand, and a complete under carraige for the D8 is probably around 30 grand, and that " o ring" is about 900 that Jack holds up at one point.....

I don't think you are talking new or like new condition. For those prices, it would be used, worn and in need of a rebuild.

One hydraulic pump for my Case 1550 dozer is $25,000. I don't even want to know what a final drive would cost.

Both final drives, complete, brand new are around 30-35,000. Im pretty sure. Its rediculous how much parts cost for machines nowadays....

Most of us could not float a loan ,big enough top replace the tracks on that cat..Even rebuilt would require Oxygen..for us..

Thats why heavy equiptment is in the $150/hr range. The guy owning them aint getting fat and making $125/hr after operator is paid, there are costs, and an undercarrige is one if you run a dozer for some time.

Watched a new episode tonight. The Hoffman's are going for 1000 ounces this year and the kid has already started moving dirt on Gramps mine in the middle of winter.Wonder what problems are in store for all this yr?

Im shocked they got rid of Harness!!! Todd also has something major planned for next season, probably another move......

I think he screwed himself by saying he wanted 1000 ounces. Halfway through the show he said he wanted 500-1000 then. With the equipment they have now Id be suprised if they got 150 ounces.
