looks like the perfect machine i need for work. currently i pull around a 5 ton IR. What is the weight of this machine? I cant exceed the weight of the trailer i use for pulling the machine for work. Its a 20ft trailer 6 ton capacity. The ingersoll rand is ready for retirement

Pretty close to 8K - same as mine. You've got spare capacity - could haul the box blade and the grapple with the bucket, too!

Lookin' good, Martian! Is that a 20" bucket on the hoe? Kinda looks like it. Were you able to make a deal on the belly pan, too?

You really did get a smokin' "package" deal there, Martian! I'd be slappin' myself in the mirror tryin' to believe it...

I believe it's the 24". I'll have to measure to be sure.

I do plan to get the belly pan, but after taxes it was $670 and since I won't have it at cottage for about 2 months, waiting for the ground to harden up and the snow to be gone, I'm going to try and get a little money in the bank account before I spend it all again;)

Martian,
That's is a nice looking 110!- You got a great deal with a lot of extras!- That would really be hard to pass up!

I'd like to get me a cab for my 110 like Steve has on his!:)

I enjoyed all the pictures.- Thanks!

Oh, did I see a "large red wagon" in one of the pictures?:D

Thanks Paul,

Once I get done with all that needs to be done in the woods and am doing more general stuff I would really like to get the Laurin cab as well. Depending on where I'm at it'll either be the Laurin or a new CUT with a factory cab. But that's a very long ways from now.

And you did see a large wagon. I like to think I fed one of those 'little' ones steroids, but heres some pictures of it as well. It's a fun 'toy';)

Dave,

I called the dealer today and asked the same question about the front hydraulics. Said to flick the on off switch a couple times and try it. Truth be told, it slid right on, I'll definitely keep the chalk gun idea hand though. Thanks!

AKfish,

Forgot to mention, I measures the backhoe bucket earlier today, it is a 24" bucket.

Short throw,

What do you do in the business? They sure are very nice 'Swiss army knife' type of machines. Can put nearly anything on them. I know that's why I chose it. Get the same effect you'd need a skid steer and a mini ex. Both of which are way more than one 110. And you could definitely put one on that trailer.

The only problem I had was I couldn't get the front hydraulics to hook up to the grapple. It just didn't want to budge onto it. Do I just have to push harder or is there some kind of 'trick' to get it on. Know what I'm doing wrong?

I had the same trouble, and found the OM to be actually helpful. It seems simple enough, but there is a method to it.

Good luck, and enjoy!!

Thanks Ray! They, unfortunately, didn't send me the OM with the machine. I'll have to keep my eye out for one. I'd really like to just get the digital version if they make it for the 110. Another thing on the to get list!

110's look like about the perfect size backhoe. Our big'ol 310 is just... wonky to control. It's great for heavy lifting, or digging deep, but being 2WD it gets stuck in wet grass, ha. Especially with how heavy it is too.

Awesome looking machine!
