Missing.... Looking for white stuff called snow. They keep saying were going to get some but haven't seen more than a couple of inches at a time.
What about the rest of you ? How much have you had this year?
We have a Nor'easter coming in tonight and tomorrow . Would like to have enough to push some around at least once this winter.

Similar here. We have had 3 snowfalls totaling more then 3 inches. the rest were just dustings or maybe and inch if you were to jab the ruler halfway into the ground. I for one don't mind the lack of snow that much, what I do mind is that I'm not getting that sweet sweet OT that lets me cushion up that tractor budget.

We've got about three feet. About a foot of the 4' fence is still showing, and were only about 80% of normal snow pack.

You can keep the nor Easter in Maine I give up on snow time for dry land so I can take off the snow plow and put the bucket back on.

We got about six inches beginning yesterday and today in my area of central MN. We also had some freezing rain first which caused the schools to close today. The snow was mixed, some that was blowing but most very wet with a blue tint under cloudy skies from all the water. We have had very little snow this year.

I live in a subdivision on the edge of a town with 60k people. I must have done 20 driveways and parts of another 30 (no charge). They were all around 50 feet long. Usually I do half a dozen including mine.

I have a Deere 4100 CUT with a 47" blower. The reason I did so many drives was because the walk behind blowers couldn't handle the wet snow with two guys telling me they were using theirs just to push snow. Three were shoveling out their broken down blowers The partial drives were just the ends where the city plow pushed up sloppy wet snow three feet deep and people were really struggling to even shovel it. Temps were right at the freezing point. I started at 6:30a and finished at 3:30p. The 4100 handled it all flawlessly. I used about 6 gallons of fuel. All good fun.

I need a cab which I will fabricate when it warms up in a couple of months.

Not one flake on the ground this morning  I guess there's still hope, it's still coming up the coast and has just started in Maine down south.

Other then that surprise storm on 31 Oct 2011 (about 6-8 inches), our total accumulation in south central PA has been less the 6" this season.

Halloween has been the biggest so far,if all holds true we could get up to 12" before midnight...might have to play hooky half day Friday. ;)

Probably got 8" here last night, but its still snowing. This will be the biggest since oct. Its been so warm here that the ice on my pond went out in early feb and was never safe. Ive been doibg spring tasks for a month since tbe ground isn't frozen and had to hurry last night to finish some stump removal before the snow hit.

Well what do you know , some white stuff :D . Got out of work around 1:00 and was home ready to warm up the old girl (THE TRACTOR) that is  by 2:00 .I guess we had about 4" to 6" so I waited until 5:00 before going out , maybe 6" to 8" by then .(Ok maybe 5"to7" just wishing we had more:laughing: )I really missed plowing snow this year ,always good to get practice using the bucket and float . You never know we might just get enough tonight to do the rounds again tomorrow . No wait I know I'll have to :D even if we don't:thumbsup:

Not much until last weekend. That was a good 2 feet. We got a little today, maybe 3 or 4 inches but it looks like there's rain in the future for us.

Received 11" of heavy wet snow last night, made short work of it this morning with the Grand L and the RB3584 Land Pride.

We aint had crap here in central OH. Which sucks because I plow commercially.

Fortunatally, I dont rely on the work. I just sub for a friend who owns a mowing/plowing business. For the last 6 years that I have plowed for him, I have plowed 50-55 hours each season over about 4-6 events.

This season.....1 event for 6.25 hrs:confused2:

I think I am definatally claiming a loss for next years taxes. Unless we get a big one in march like we did on '08:thumbsup:

It was an atypical snowfall which is why so many of my neighbors had problems. It wasn't the amount of snow (nothing unusual) but the type.

From our local newspaper:

The first significant snowfall of the season dropped 7.8 inches of snow on St. Cloud

"We've got people that have plowed for 25 and 30 years. This snow is different than any of those (others)," said Jerry Kaeter, assistant director of St. Cloud public works.

The city has 24 snow plows.

Six times Tuesday night and Wednesday morning, plows got stuck and had to be pulled out because packed snow took away the traction, Kaeter said. Normally, a truck gets stuck occasionally, but not that many in one night, he said.

1" of snow, that's it so far for us.

It's been a weird, mild winter for us too. Funny thing is we are finally leading in the total season snowfall in rochester, ny area compared to buffalo and syracuse. Those 2 other cities always beat us for snowfall season total, but this winter season ain't over yet.
