I have not read but from page 10 in this thread, forgive me if this has been said;
IMO,
RE: The claims of "We got this many ounces and that many ounces" .
If you were mining, and there were cameras watching you, knowing that for every dollar
you claim publically, that you will be paying taxes on said, would't you tend to maybe...., maybe only claim A
THIRD or LESS of what you really find?
Come on, they dive'd up the gold, the Hoffman crew that is, and what was it, like 8K each for how long of work? I bet ya they figure out expenses plus a tiny bit and only claim that. The rest, well what uncle Sam don't know, does not hurt uncle Sam.
Nope, I ain't buying there claims one bit. Would you work 18 hours a day, 7 days a week, for 4.5 months for 8K and WANT to go back? That is $1777.78 a month or $444.45 cents a week or $63.50 a day or, lets lower the hours worked in a day to 12, sound fair, ok, that is $5.29 an HOUR! Now, what is the minimum wage in the state of Alaska? What do they demand workers be paid per hour? That is gross, NOW SUBTRACT TAXES AND FICA ETC! LOL!
LOL, ya following me here? :laughing:
They would be FOOLS to claim everything they make. I bet ya Gramps had a talk w/ Parker after his little 55K brick stunt. If you were to spend a lot of money in fuel to melt a brick would you make small bricks? Maybe, but I doubt it.
Pulling Gold out of the ground is a CASH BUSINESS. THAT is why Todd didn't tell parker what was up and Parker is too young yet to know I bet! Well, now I bet ya he knows.
I do not know the process of turning gold into currency, maybe there is a mandatroy deal like when you cash in scrap you have to show ID, even so, that can be beat.
