New Holland 1469 Haybine... good machine?

I drove it bot 100yds to put in my buddies barn seems like its goin to take sum getting use to. Im afraid I wont be able to get it down his steep driveway to use it on my land. He has more acreage so I will just keep it,there n hopfully make do with the nh 479 that I got. Havnt used it yet but just replaced 20 cutter knives on it rollers r rely lookin bad but hopfully it will work on my 10ac.

Anyone know where i can pick up a Operators Manual for this NH 1469? With all this nice weather in PA it will be haymaking time soon. Getting The HAY FEVER!

As of this afternoon 3-18 there are 5 of the manuals on ebay under agricutural and Forestry which is under Business and Industrial.

I thought you said the rollers looked really good?

Yep rollers are in great shape on 1469 but not,the 479 I had bought before I found this awesome deal on the 1469 for only 500 bucks lol. Its just I had no where to store 1469 so I put it at my buddies,where I started helpin him with 25 ac. I hav about 7 ac in hay at my place n his drivrway is very steep not sure if I can drive the 1469 down his driveway so im trying to get,the 479 field redy. Had a few local farmers look at it n they said it will still crimp good n last on my 7 ac.
