You're wrong, there was only one shootin coyote. Seriously, I am not sure what you think is so improbable here. There is an organization in my state that captures coyotes and electronically tags them to study migration movements. The vet that sedates them and collars them is the vet my wife works for. We have gotten pretty keen on sightings so on that day I called my wife up at work to tell her of what came into our backyard. When the incident happened which was very close to the office, she called me to ask if I could come up and identify if this was the coyote I saw 3 hours earlier. Since the markings on this coyote were rather unique (pie bald) it was easy to know it was the same one. If you are doubting a coyote could range this far in this amount of time, they tracked another coyote last October that in a 4 month time span gps'd out to 350 miles of travel. If you are doubting my story all together without knowing the kind of person I am, there is nothing left to be said.
