King Kutter vs Chinese Tillers

Tremount MS is where the factory is for the BB cutters. You are right, DHE is in Red Bay, but they have a factory in Tremount.

The $99.00 is the full costs of shipping in those states. That is not an additional charge.

Here is a link to the Phoenix Company (Unifarm Machinery) line of Rotary Cutters. We are taking a hard look at these quality machines for future stock. Rotary Cutters Ken Sweet

We do use world sourcing for component parts (just as GM, Ford, and other American companies) in an effort to provide a quality product that is manufactured in the US and available to the consumer at an affordable price.

As for the question about "outlet stores", we retail our products through distributors across the US. Please checkout our new website (which is new and improved but still under construction) at King Kutter Inc. - Quality Rotary Mowers and Farm Equipment to locate a dealer in your area.
At the risk of sounding like a moron............your statement makes no sense and can be labeled as false advertising.

King Kutter Rep was on here at one time.........advertising his product. While I'm not against King Kutter, I am against anyone trying to sell their product on here without signing up as an advertiser.

Rules is rules, they are there for a reason.

If ya want to push your product, pay the advertising fee as Jake does, or sell at TSC.

Nuff said

P.S. And it goes for any other advertisers here on TBN. Be honest about where your products are made(whole or in part)............you'll only lose customers if you aren't honest.

Rule of thumb..........good news travels fast..............bad news travels much faster.

Here is my theory, and I want to be proven wrong!
If you look real close at this large picture:
http://www.kodiakmfg.com/products/Kodiak_Rotary_Tillers.pdf
It looks exactly like the Chinese tiller at Agrisupply. It seems Kodiak, King Kutter, and the TSC tillers are all Chinese tillers painted and rebranded. Not one of these tillers says "MADE IN USA" on it. Now here is the good part: All these tillers have a great reputation and they perform very well! But lets not fool ourselves that we are buying US made products. OK, please prove me wrong, so we can buy a real MADE IN USA tiller!
Looks can be deceiving, be sure to ask questions and get supporing documentation..............according to the posts I've seen on here!!!!!!!I'm gonna quote myself.........

If I find any one of you advertisers...............misrepresenting your product.....

I will post my info as soon as I can respond to the post.

I trust you advertisers to give me factual information, so I can help others here on TBN...........if you can't be honest...........I will see to it that you get no business from TBN!!!!!

I DON"T CARE WHO YA ARE......................

I will not tolerate being lied to!

Hi Doug,
It depend on how much ground is being tilled. I worked on a vegetable farm that had a brand new KK tiller and by the end of the year it was all beat up. It seemed like it had thin metal, it was all dented up and bubbled out from hitting rocks. Now, to be fair it was about 13 tilled acres that it was used on, and there were rocks, despite my efforts to remove them before I tilled. I worked on another vegetable farm that was three times the size, and same ammount of rocks. They had two tillers, one was an old Howard tiller, and the other was a new Maschio. I worked there for three years and those tillers were worked hard. They seemed to have heavier metal, no dents or dings through out the years. Now, I didn't price it out but I wouldn't be surprised if those tillers cost a pretty penny. If that is the case, and if he is only tilling a garden patch, I think that the tiller that your buddy got will be a fine tiller. But if he is using it for large acreage it may not last very long.
