Interested to see what JD said/did about the seal. Nice tractor. In the pic with the deck under it I was thinking, "That's the baddest ***** riding mower on steroids I've just about ever seen."

Congrats on the new JD.

While it's at the dealers consider asking them to reverse the rear wheels only for better stability. The fronts will rub on the MMM on hard turns so don't turn them.

On mine there is a restricter disc in the MMM line to limit the speed of movement.

Nice looking tractor - got to love the JD brand! I read with interest your air seat dilemma - I had the same thing happen to me. I purchased a new (2008) 3720 with deluxe cab and the dealer said it came with an air seat. it was my first tractor so after some research and debate back and forth with the dealer (and them coming out to investigate) they agreed my tractor did not have an air seat and they put one in for free...they told me during the sale process that it comes with an air seat and it was on my sales paperwork so I made them put one in. it's a good option and glad to have had it. i since traded up to a 4720 with a air seat of course. have fun and be safe.

never had a problem with the front wheels rubbing on the MMM with my 3720.

Perhaps things have changed. My reference, to be more specific - 2008 JD 3320 - OS - 72" 7 Iron MMM - Turf Tires.

When the front wheels were reversed (wide position) on sharp turns the front wheel would rub on the front of the MMM deck.

I noticed the OP has Turfs on his 3520. This may not happen with R4's.

sorry took so long to respond. My dealer talked to john deere about letting one of their techs look into it instead of replacing the cab. John deere authorised it an they spent 10 hours on the door brackets. I dont know exactly what they did but you cant tell they fiddled with anything. Every thing looks factory and the door is nice and unfiormed and sealed very tightly now. John deere will most likely be using what my dealer did for a tsb as people come in with the issue. I dont know what serial number range of cabs was affected by the issue but i would imaginde there is quite a few!. Also, the back window was a bigger gap. That was an easy one becuase they just replaced the whole glass. The glass wasnt molded correctly. So anyone with a 2012 jd cab, check your seals and if your cab isnt sealed, take it in and get it fixed. John deere is aware of the big problem becuase of my tractor. I was the first to report it. It was confirmed becuase my dealer had another 2012 cab on the lot and noticed tthat one had an issue after looking at mine.

Yeah i have turfs, i had the rears reversed but not the fronts. The fronts are close now so if they were flipped they might rub a little
