You got lucky, my 2620 I had was smooth as silk yet my 3200 is jerky no matter what rpm it is at.

I changed the fluid at 50 hrs and went with CaseIH Hy-tran fluid but I did not notice any difference. As for filters I stick with Kubota filters. Expensive yes but I consider them excellent quality.

I use Super-UDT and Kubota filters and always have. The transmission lurch only happens when the Hydraulic fluid is not up to operating temperature. Then it's pretty much gone. I use Lo 60% Med 39% and Hi about 1% of the time. So. It's a none issue for me anyway.

same with me. in fact i only notice the problem with my b7800 when i am pulling out of my shed first thing=usually not fully warmed up and/or i have it at low rpms just pulling out. it will do it once with in the first 5 feet i move it then that is it. anyother time it has happened to me is if i was transporting it in high range and i get lazy and try to take it up a hill i should have shifted to medium on. other then that i never have this surge problem. i run my rpms atleast 2300. gears= low=50% med=49% high=1%.

not sure, but does it have a two stage pump and it might be kicking between stages causing this surge or lurch forward?

i actually just priced kubota filters against wix (napa) and to my surporise, the kubota filters were not any more expensive. some of napa's filters were a little more (not much), some of kubota's filters were more (not much). i priced all the filters, air, oil, hyd/trans, fuel. i am in the north east. maybe prices with competitors vary elsewhere??? i too will stick with the kubota filters.
