Well that last video with you going up, is a little scary.. and your "hills" are kinda big... I think a lot of people around here would call that a mountain.:)

Yep same here, only in 2wd on the flatter pieces of pavement. made the mistake "once" of going down a hill with a load of gravel in 2wd and had a "runaway" when the rear tires started to slip and then lost traction..I learned better real quick:eek:

I have had that happen as well and It gets hairy real quick. I have learned to check to see if it is in 4WD before heading down the hills.

I have a couple hills nearly that steep but no where near as long. I still get a little nervous traveling them. You sir have ba**s that clang to drive up those hills. I got queasy just watching the up hill video.

You get used to where you can and cant go.

Those are some hills. We could BBQ all summer with all that wild Cherry wood, UUUUUM!!!

Charlie

Come on over and I will set you up with some I have a couple of smaller wind blown cherry trees that are down and waiting to be cut up.

There are some real mountains here in WV but this area is mostly hills. The difference is the rise over the surrounding lower areas.

I took some pics of the load of cherry firewood loaded. This will burn really good. First 2 pics are from the first load and the second 2 are from the 2nd load.:tractor:

Even though I get worried my L4400 will stall or something going up my hills due to lack of hydro fluid suction, after seeing your 4400 do that, I shouldn't be worried. I was gonna ask you want RPM's you run it going up the hills, but I caught a glimpse of the dash in part of the video. Looked to be about 24-2500 rpm's.

I have stalled mine out a few times, but I knew I was pushing it way beyond what it was designed for and scared me anyway, so I guess it is a good thing.

Stalled it going up a hill?

I used to worry about that to till I tested it on a steeper area.

That's a heck of a hill. I like the carry-all setup, I'm working on something similar for my tractor. I've got a hill that's as steep, but its much shorter (which I'm grateful for!). Do you notice any issues with a heavy load of wood on the 3pt on the hill with traction or balance? I've got a ton of firewood and some good logs at the bottom of my hill and I'm hoping to load up the bucket and the carry all to speed up the retrieval of the wood.
