I hate to pile on, but skip the blower and get the FEL. I read your other post, and your driveway is not that big. The only reason I'd recommend the blower would be if you get a lot of heavy snows. If you live where you get 12" snows or more on a regular basis, then a blower is probably a must have for you. I cleared my driveway(600 feet long) and probably 1000 feet of the public road in front of my house after a 24" snow storm we had last year. It got old after a while, since the rear blade was useless and I had to use the FEL. For a normal snow, which is usually 6" or less in my area, I can use a rear blade and clear the snow off almost as fast as I can drive.

Op lives in Erie, Pa. Bunches and bunches of lake effect snow.

I would recommend the blower before the FEL, for his property, if both could not be purchased at the same time.

EDIT: As I stated in the other thread, and wrooster has shown with his pics, the 1860 would do everything you need......but the 2360 is more powerful.

The 'build my kubota' page shows a price on the 1860, 54" deck, FEL, and snowblower as 17, 469. If the dealer will give 15% off that package as well.....you are looking at 14,849.

Good luck in your decision.

Thanks for all the good advice. Made the purchase this morning and my new Kubota bx2360 with 60" MMM, front mounted snow blower with hydraulic chute rotator AND FEL is being delivered on Wednesday. All for 16,500. Hope to keep you informed after a couple of trial runs. Thanks again,
Steve

Congrats! Its going to be a great rig for you. Of course, since you bought the snow blower, you won't get any this winter. Take a few pictures of it when it gets delivered and post them for us.

Smart move getting it all at once. You would never be able to add the loader later for the extra you paid now. Once you start using the loader you'll realize it is definitely worth the extra $1500. Congrats.....

I'm considering applying a coating of fluid film on the mower deck, and snowblower any thoughts? Pros, cons?

I was wondering the same thing - I coated the inside of my garden tractor snowblower with a graphite paint from Tractor Supply. Was wondering about using that under the mower deck...

Definitely helped on the snowblower. Of course I have a 30 year old blower on the front of a IH / Cub Cadet so yours will work a lot better by default.
