62D deck has me scratching my head......

Hi does anyone have a picture of the Stow and go being used? My 2010 62D Deck has the mounts (and the garden hose fittings) but I'm not sure how the deck is supported with the hitch. I got creative and just used a strap off the back of the deck. A bit ugly but it works.

I had the same issues at first- But the pins go in the lower holes closer to the tractor and then pin goes in the upper holes toward the back..

the 3pt catches the upper pin and then the lower pin rests up the underside of the 3pt hitch..

I have the Pats EZ change and it wont work because the pins are too close together..

Thanks Brian, I suspected I picked the wrong option, but just made this work. :ashamed:
I'll be sure to try the lower holes by the tractor...

I have been reading these posts lately. I found a hardly used 62D1 with brackets, round wheels and grease fitttings. Apparently this is a rare combination. I would have been very dissapointed to buy a new one without the brackets. It also has a mulch kit installed.

Here is one I used to own. My new 62D deck does not have the Stow & go.

I am now slapping my head! If I would have looked at the label I would have seen that this is actually a 62D2. I was told it came off of a 2320. Nope, 2520. My 2320 is at the dealers with this mounted and the drive shaft doesnt fit. We are looking for another one but I think I will be getting a new one instead. (Without the lifting brackets).

PS If anyone has a 2520 or 2720 and wants this deck, let me know.

Can someone provide measurements of the factory placed lifting points?

I want to build a similar bracket to weld onto my deck that did not come with them.

Or some very close up pictures of each bracket.

If someone can post a few high res photos of the brackets on a deck that has them, and some dimensions possibly, I can probably fabricate them. I would assume most guys would want a bolt-on version, rather than weld-on, so that is how I would design them.
