You Google'd what?
The cheapest new TLB's probably would be Jinma, Foton, etc. Fine tractors and I understand they are a great value for money. They are sold under many different brand names and come in a variety of colors, including "green".

Well I did a search on just that cheapest backhoes to see what would come up in forums, but could really find any prices. The topic came up because I'm buying a 410d turbo for 15k from a cemetery , and my old man was telling me just that. There's good machines out there that are a great bang for the buck although I'm sure not for 15k, but it 15 would be a good down payment

IMO you are much better off buying a used name brand machine than a cheap POS.

I have a Deere that is a 1968 or 69 and does very well for what I us it for. Local septic guy has same vintage Deere but a size smaller.

Komatsu is good brand now, but when they 1st came out were junk. Cheap copies of Cats and other brands. Difference being Komatsu improved over the years, chinese brands no so much.

Yea that was what my gut is saying although my dad made some good points, the Deere I'm looking at is a 95 with roughly 2500 hrs its seems solid and tight it hasn't really worked only used to bury the dead hopefully its not haunted..... Let's see if me an him can work out deal because it desperately needs 4 tires

I was wondering if you could better qualify your statements?

The main thing with these China machines to me arent the qaulity. In the case the machine needs parts where to go I literally have a john Deere cat case kubota and komatsu dealership all within literally 15-45 min so I know in the case if I need anything but @ the same time no matter what filter can and general maint items can found any where and if its a good qaulity machine o shouldn't have to worry right?

Even a good quality machine is going to break. I guarantee it.

I think you could probably order most filters, hoses, and general maintenance items no matter what the brand and have them shipped to your door. If something major goes wrong, you are probably not going to load up the machine and take it to a dealership anyway (unless you've got a really big truck and trailer), it will be repaired where it sits by a heavy equipment mechanic.

Or, if you blow a cylinder you can pull it off and take to the hydro shop. They don't care what brand it is, and any decent shop can order the right seal kit in a few days.

Brand loyalty for heavy equipment is as strong as it is for agricultural equipment. I had a NH 555E that served me well. I know a guy with a CAT TLB that he bought new for 95k. There has been problems with the electrical since day one.

All that being said, you will have a tough time finding a new construction unit TLB for less than 65k. Terex might be your best bet. I've looked at them and they are pretty nice.

But if you are going to just use it around your place, not earn your living with it, it would get tiresome making a big monthly payment on a machine that sits most of the time. Just some things to think about.

I forgot to mention that there are lots of Chinese tractor dealers sprinkled throughout the US, and just about any proprietary part is only a day away. Most all of the filters cross over to domestic brands, which are mostly made in China anyway.
It should also be noted that Yuchai makes some very high quality "construction grade" excavators, and TLB's in the 75 to 95 HP range.
