Great! Can I ask you to post a picture of the new style that I can forward to the dealer?

I just checked my machine and I have the same issue. Do you know if the new covers will be replaced under warranty?
Thanks!

Mine were replaced under warranty, and I believe that there was a Service Bulletin issued by the Daedong on the issue. I will try and get pictures of it next time on the property.

i was wondering if the Mechron is a rebadged Older style Polaris side by side? that gear box and A-frame suspension looks like a Polaris

No, if anything it will be the other way around, Daedong are a OEM manufacturer, and produce equipment for all kinda of other brands, while they have run some of there product range under the Daedong banner in the past, everything export will now be called kioti.

My right axle boot is showing "oil shine" too. Is yours leaking???? I'm asking the dealer to send someone to look at mine. No drip, just suspicion a weep, seep or such.

It looks wet but doesn't seem to be leaking. Right after I got it, there was some lube dripping from the boot. The dealer sent a new vent (tube and fitting at outboard end) but that changed nothing. Since then the drip has ceased but it still looks wet all the time. Does your vent look the same as in the photo I posted? If not, please post a picture of yours..

The Mechron is fixed :)

Kioti did replace both the front and rear differential covers under warranty just as somguyss predicted. The vent locations are relocated away from the ring gear as shown in the attached photo. Compare that photo against the photos I previously uploaded to see the change. I did notice that a new Mechron sitting on the dealer's lot had the revised vent design.

I'd also like to compliment Kioti on producing an excellent machine. In the few months that I've had to play with it, I've found that it is easy to drive, relatively quiet and has a great ride. It will go just about anywhere. I attached a Swisher snow blade to the front receiver mount and found it very capable of clearing the drive with snows up to about 18 inches (the most we got this year). It is a whole lot easier than with the DK40. And, it does that without burning much fuel.
