STILL CAN'T POST MOST ATTACHMENTS !!

Just tried to add three pictures to a post, 11 times straight, and I kept getting the message "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" although I was connected to TBN.

This is the second time I have mentioned this issue here and I am trying to understand why it persists...any ideas?

There are NO other sites I belong to where the same issue happens..NONE.

JD - If you see my Son's Bull Dog, Munson, then uploading is working fine for me ...I use the latest version of Firefox.

I believe you are using a laptop, while I am using an iPhone...but I have noticed when I pop in and out of threads from the "current" screen - then go to reply / post / attach...I get a temporary screen freeze. Most if the time it posts my replay, but I have to go back to the main screen and refresh to see if it did.

My suggestion to try - make sure to refresh / reload the site often, especially prior to posting. I am not that big of a computer geek to explain with any accuracy on why I think this might work...so I won't even attempt. I have noticed the more I reload - the less freeze ups I have.

Thanks Brin...I prefer IE and I have no problem posting attachments ANYWHERE but here, leading me to believe the issue is with the TBN site and not with my hardware/software.

Thanks for your input, will try the refreshing but it is a headache to do that as we are on the very fringe limit of DSL. Yes, I use a laptop...wireless coverage is so poor here I cannot even use my wife's Iphone to connect to TBN.

Simply clicking on the "manage attachments" to add or edit files is the ONLY way I ever try to post pictures. I have never found the need to use any other method. And for those who wonder, my 2 mp pictures are well under the size limit.

JD - Do you not just click the paper clip Icon at the top of the message box which when hovered over with your cursor shows " Attachments " then a window appears and you click browse and find the file on your computer and click upload...that is what I do....????

Does your wife have the new 4s iPhone? Its connection / download speed is blazing fast compared to the previous model, speaking of AT&T. When they rolled out the 4g, previous dead areas now have signal.

My son-in-law uses only his iPhone 4s (AT&T) for home Internet. It is set up like a wireless hotspot. He gets 5g of download monthly for $20.

Just some thoughts / ideas if you hadn't considered them..if even applicable in your situation.

JD I uploaded 2 photos no problem. But my upload show 1,000K max.
