I'm not sure yet. When the guy came to look at my tractor for a trade-in, it was after the dealership closed. The next day (Thursday) I dropped off my credit application on my way to work. He is supposed to call me at the next stage, and I assume I am going to have to sign some things before they'll start prepping "my" tractor my way. I expected to hear back from him Friday or Saturday, but didn't. I can't imagine there's a problem with my credit, and I know I can afford the payments. So I don't know what the holdup is or how long it's supposed to take.

Then the guy came to the house and we signed the papers and he gave me some keys, and I still didn't have a tractor! Thankfully I still had the 'bota and racked up some hours on it. On the hours, yeah I am working on a project in the lower yard and they do rack up fast. I bought the recommended transmission/hydraulic fluid last week for the 50 hour,.. Woo. that was some bucks. My Kubota manual said transmission fluid change out was at 400 hours, but Kioti still want you to do it a 50. Anyway I am looking forward to you getting the new machine (I bet you are too!)

I broke down and called the dealership today. Someone had misplaced my credit application! Anyway, they got that straightened out and delivery of my machine should be Thursday or Friday.

In the meantime I am getting all my brush hogging caught up so I can baby my new machine for a couple months. I am really excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is some loader/ratchet rake work I have been putting off until get the HST. Aaaahhhhh yeeaaahhhh

I think you will find the Kubota SUDT to be even more. seems like I paid over $50 bucks for a 2.5 gallon bottle of that..Look in your manual but I think Kubota is still recommending first change at 400 hours. There is some controversy over that, as a lot of the guys are not trusting the Kubota engineers, and still changing at 50 hours. but I followed the manual, and just changed the 2 filters and the oil and filter for the engine. and the other routine servicing things. You are going to be like a kid in a candy store wanting to try out all of those buttons and knobs when it gets here.

yeah we have pretty well bonded.. I have 40 hours now. Tell you what, I am not done,, bring her on over... now we could have some fun comparing new machines. I bet.:laughing:

How many hours did you have on your Kubota when you traded it?

I'll have to make sure my new tractor meets MY expectations first! I'd hate to go up there and embarrass myself!

I think it was 128 or so. Yes I have been kinda busy building a pad for the Metal building I plan to house the Kioti! I am sure the Kubota will meet all your expectations and more..:thumbsup: It might take a few days to get used to the hydro and all the extra controls of HST+ but I bet you will like the heck out of it.

Well I didn't get a call today, so I assume the tractor will be delivered Friday, maybe this weekend. I finished most of my brush hogging and mowed the yard. I really wanted to see that hour meter roll over to 400. I also wanted to use up the full tank of fuel. Then I decided to go around the yard and pick up all the dead branches I pulled down yesterday and put them in the bucket, then haul them to a burn pile out back. I thought maybe I was getting greedy and had a paranoid feeling that something was about to go wrong with the tractor. Sure enough, I wasn't paying close enough attention and ran the ROPS into the eaves of my shed. Tore off a piece of wood but nothing I can't fix. Decided to park the tractor until my new one arrives -- can't have it throwing a rod or running out of oil or some other freak thing and messing up my trade-in!

Hey James, do you know how heavy your tractor is with loaded tires and FEL? I realized today that with loaded tires my new tractor will be 2,000 lbs heavier than my old one (new will weigh 6,000 lbs). I guess I've been slightly paranoid today that the weight is too much for the 37 hp. Can anyone tell me if this is a valid concern, or am I worrying over nothing?
