Man that is super nice, I see you have a seat for your dog to ride on. Does he know it yet? Never saw a German Shepherd that didn't like to ride:laughing:

Thanks for the pictures. Everyone is right, that sure is one nice tractor.

Lol, my German Shepherd goes with me everywhere in the truck, will have to think about him being able to ride with me on the tractor. I'm sure he would love it.

Spent all weekend working on the pole barn, so the tractor has just been sitting in the shop. :(

I did tear into it last night to install some of the options. Here's the center console after removing the cowl cover.

Right side after adding the blue wire for the break light.

Connecting the blue wire to the rear light harness (other side is the same, the wire tees in the cab).

my5085-45.jpg

Shuttle control installed. Turns out this option needs to be programmed by the dealer before it will function correctly.

my5085-41.jpg

Right console apart.

my5085-42.jpg

Left console apart and buddy seat and side panel removed.

my5085-43.jpg

Close up of what I'm guessing to be the body control module, or engine computer.

my5085-44.jpg

Horn installed. The wires for it were already there.

my5085-46.jpg

Accumulator for the loader suspension installed.

my5085-47.jpg

Fender extensions installed. Now I need to bring the wheels out to be flush with them. That should be fun.

my5085-48.jpg

Some of the pieces I took out.

So I have 2 issues right now.

1. I can't seem to locate the 903 orange wire nor the 122C red wire in the center console for the horn button.

2. I can't get the inside right side cover off so that I can connect the accumulater solenoid to the 3rd function valve power supply. The issue is the tower the FEL joystick is on prevents me from pulling the cover off the location pins by the cab door. I tried removing the plastic cover from the tower, but I can't get to the 4th bottom screw, which is up against the cover I'm trying to remove.

Here's the plastic cover I'm talking about. Has anyone had this off? If so, how did you get it off?

I might just have to let the dealer handle those 2 items for me.

Does your wife know that you took your new tractor and tore it all to pieces?:)
Two questions. First how are you going to set the wheels out, Axle extensions or just going to a different mounting position on the rims?I ask because I have ordered my new tractor with both the 4.1 inch extensions and have asked them to mount the tires on the widest rim position possible. That should give me close to eight feet out to out and fender extensions would be pointless. I want the wide stance as I have nothing but side hill and will be moving snow with it chained up on all four corners with the meanest snaggle toothed chains I can find.
And second to go way back a moment. In the long time between ordering your awesome tractor and it getting to the dealers was there any way for you to track your order on line so you could get a status update without badgering your salesman. I'm just three weeks into the wait and I haven't called him yet but it would be nice to know that it left the factory and made it onto a boat etc.
I hope you find all your wires and all the panels snap back together without breaking off any tabs. The dog friendly entry ladder will be the really hard part.

Can you get to the three bolts that mount the joystick assembly? If so, maybe you can leave the trim cover on and remove the complete joystick.

Just different mounting position on the rims. I don't want the sidewalls to be out further than the fender extensions.

None that I'm aware. The original date was 5/14 and it came in just a little earlier than that. My dealer started checking his system about once per week once we got into mid April, and let me know when the status changed. It sure would be nice if JD started offering on-line tracking for customers!

I looked at that, and its going to be real tight, especially the bolt positioned towards the back, but that is what I'm planning to try tonight.

Yes it would ,and you would think that it would save lots of salesman's man hours by letting the customer that has already committed to a sale do his own checking. All it would take is a read only site page where the customer entered his order number.
Thanks for the reply.

Well, that didn't work. Those bolts are super tight. With a deep socket and extension over a 13mm wrench, I'm flexing the wrench and not loosening the bolt. Too tight to get a 1/2" drive 13mm socket on them without interference from the side panel that I'm trying to remove.

I did install the brush guard on the fuel tanks. The primary front portion of the tank comes with a guard from the factory, and the optional guard is 2 pieces, one for the rear section of the main 45 gallon tank, and a second piece for the optional inner tank, which add an additional 7 gallons. So the dealer added almost 52 gallons of diesel before I picked it up. That sure was nice of them!

I jacked up the rear axle and it was about all my 3ton floor jack could muster. Tried to figure out the best way to support the axles with jack stands for making the rear track wider. I'll have to give it some more thought and get a helper if I'm going to do that myself.

Right now the tractor is sitting on a 59.5" centerline to centerline tread width and I got about 4" fender overhang on each side from adding the fender extensions. Looking at the chart, I need to go to the "G" position to bring my centerline to centerline to 67.5", which translates to a outeredge to outeredge dimension of 87", which would make me flush with the widest portion of the extensions.

Perhaps I should to with the "F" position instead (63.7" centerline), which would give me a total width of about 83.2", which would put the outer tire edges fairly flush with the fender extensions, except for the very wides part at the top. I have some very steep sections on my land, but I would never dream of going sideways on, but given that I don't plan on adding liquid, I might just go for the 87" setting. Decisions, decisions.

My loaner New Holland has a super wide rear stance of 92" edge to edge, which I feel is too much and makes finish cutting with my 90" Wood RM990 not work out so well.

So other than the horn button and getting the side panel off to connect power to the loader suspension, the only thing left is the oil collection system. Is there a trick to getting the dust covers off the remote quick connect couplers other than just pulling really hard on them?
