Congratulations---that is a very nice combination. The toolbox above the fender is interesting and I don't recall seeing one like that around here. Does it clamp to the ROPS?

With a backhoe, Kubota moves the rear tool box to the side, above the fender.

Nice setup. You have lots of ability there. You realise you now have to get some projects done with it as you just ran out of excuses. I suggest a new garage or equipment barn with a ten foot door as your first project. That way you can stop fooling around putting the ROPS down every time you want to put it in the garage. You will forget and whack that door sometime when your in a hurry or tired. Keep us posted about how you like it as you get familiar with it.

Just because you didn't spring for a comfort cab and R-1s with a full set of snaggle toothed chains doesn't mean you can use a little rain as an excuse.
If it keeps raining you will have to trade up to an all weather tractor and if you haven't got something done with this one that might not go well with "She who must be obeyed". :laughing:

Dealer brought her down today. What a rig. Went over the machine and implements for over an hour. Had him show me how to detach and reattach backhoe and loader.
Then the necessary but not so fun part took place :drool:, check changed hands. Well ...

Had an hour of seat time - oh man, got a lot to learn.
What a mess I made ! But as the saying goes - Rome wasn't built in one day either.
And what was to be expected. The garage is just a few inches shy in height.

Thank you all for the support in the deciding and buying stage of this adventure. I'm sure I'll have more to ask and read on the 'operating' part.

Thanks for the tool box mounting photo. Lots of applications for other tractors and solves a problem for me.
