Demoing a t870 with bobcat head tomorrow

No the only machine I can compare it to is the 297, my cat dealer hasn't got the head in for the 299d xhp yet but for wat they want for it they can have it very very proud of it. I just drove the 299d around haven't mulched with it don't no that I will even consider it after running the t870 like all the leg room

i'm pretty sure the vt 175 fae is the same as the 415b head that's coming out.

Im interested in trying out an 870. I have a supertrak tl 150 that has done great the last 10 yrs but its time for an upgrade. Idk if i can swallow the price they want for an sk 140. Very informative post guys, thanks

i'm pretty sure the vt 175 fae is the same as the 415b head that's coming out.

My cat salesman said it wad a fae 150 with larger two speed motor and a different hyd. Manifold but he may have not know wat he was talking bout.

I would defently check it out worth looking at. The supertrak is nice but now that cat is selling them the price has gotten out there last year they wanted 175,000 for the 140 with no head I was planning on putting the Cimaf on it but thats to much.

What do you think it would do with a set of blades on it? I know Quadco has some. Did you ask the price of replacement carbides for it?

Bobcat wants like 169 a piece, but I'm getting the qaudcos holders and two sets if teeth in the deal, an they take there over priced ones off.

That was some smart negotiating. The 2 speed motor and blades will be your best friends in this deal.

I didn't see carbides on Quadco's page under the Bobcat tools.

Just chippers now, but Jim Pyke told me it wouldn't be long because there redesigning the carbides to cut better he said I bought the last of the older carbides he had for the Rayco. All the quadco teeth are the same size for fae bobcat asv heads just the holders are different.
