2008 Kubota b2920
Here is a few pictures of the vise (been painted many many times) as per thick flaking paint and different color chips.

Bought this at a house auction for $8.00

Was thinking of ;

1. Degreasing
2. Sand blasting
3. Priming
4. Painting (but what color...)

Here are my choices

New Kubota orange (body) and kubota grey on handle, jaws etc

Or

Red and black

How bout a vote!

Just strolling through and saw your vise thread.

I like the looks of the hammered black paint.

I vote the body hammered black. Other parts ?? Red or Gray. I would leave the jaws
un-painted, makes it look Tough.:)

Make it 2 for the hammered black with red and the jaws un-painted would look awesome.

My better half picked one up for me at a yard sale, paid a huge 100.......pennies. I took it apart painted blue and use a 2" reciever on my bucket to connect it to. There was nothing wrong with it, and now it matches my tractor.

Ok

The reason that I had the color choices 1. And 2. Is that is what I had left over

Plus new kubota orange and kubota grey would match my b2920

Will consider hammered black. What make is best or would you recommend?

Don't know

Looked for some kind of stamping/forging/engraving but could not find anything.

Of course you have to paint it Kubota orange!!

I love to restore things and in most cases have had the best results simply re-painting the original colors.
