any chance for sub forums....

• tree felling / log skidding / stump removal
• building roads / road maintenance
• trenching
• fence / post hole diggers / post hammers
• tiller / plow / disc / harrow
• FEL (front end loader) attachments
• sheds / garages builds

or perhaps. a sub forum named "important threads" for all all current "general forums" and tossing threads that go over basics into each one?

perhaps add description of stump removal as first description of land clearing, then add tree felling / log skidding some place to description of "land clearing"

land clearing just never went DUH! to me. when looking over the names and descriptions of the forums.

a lot of threads pop up, and folks ask about what to use to deal with there road / and how to build. same goes for trenching. seems like a couple threads a couple times a week plus for above.

TBN has tons of forums, many just for name of a given tractor company.
why not just a new section. and then sub forums for different attachments? finishing mowing, rotatory cutters, PHD, FEL, backhoe, box blade, rear blade, landplane, snow blower, fork lifts, post hammer, 3pt rakes, etc...?

serisouly the "attachments" forum. has threads: 20,537 and Posts: 223,118 the forum alone is is in top 3 active forums it may be top forum pending on what you weigh judgement on.

just wondering if there is a way to break things up some. to clump similar things together.

Maybe a "building" forum?

perhaps split "project forum" into a new section. like "general" section. and put in, some individual forums,

• building
  • description: sheds, garages, homes, etc..
• fence building & maintaining
• trenching
• tiller/plow/disc/harrow
  • description: preparing the land for planting / seed / grass
• land clearing
  • description: stump removal, tree feling, log skidding, mulching, brushing and other land clearing topics and equipment

- How to release the park brake on a HST tractor before you burn them up
- Hints for winter storage of tractor
- hints/tips for getting tractor out of storage
- hints/tips for annual/spring maintenance
- simple fixes

TBN has tons of forums

Personally, I think TBN already has too many forums.

If there is a feature I'd like to see more than anything else, it would be to have the ability to limit the forums that I see, so I won't have to constantly scroll past other forums to get to the one's I'm interested in seeing. Perhaps a favorite forums list or some sort of filter would do the trick.

On the iPhone app, we have a favorite tag to put in our favorite forum. I am not positive, but I think it was included in the latest app update. I haven't used it, yet put plan on it....that is WHENEVER the app and the latest TBN update gets fully sync'd.

Looks like there is a minus button (

) in the header of each section which will let you (for example) hide the "Regional Forums" section.
HOWEVER, it must be cookie based as it does not work between multiple browsers on the same computer.

Muhammad, any chance of having that be persistent by user account?
