Forum Upgrade - Any Issues?

If there is a way to change "me" back to ADVANCED instead of quick reply I would be appreciative.

The only thing I can get is the "sign up now" popup.
That and an invitation from 'Stephanie' who is 'online now' and wants to get together.
Hope she doesn't mind if I drag my oxygen tank along.
I see this as a classic case of, "We will install this software upgrade on this date". I've been through it too many times. Rather than waiting until the test region proves the bugs have been contained, the 'date' comes first.
I guess somethings will never change. The 'little people who actually do the work", are the last to be considered.

This upgrade was not ready for production status.

One thing I noticed and havent seen mentioned yet....

I dont like the default on the search function that automatically sorts by relevance. I like the old default that sorted by date. Maybe I am the only one???? But I think the new default will bring back old threads from years ago.

I also (and I dont know if others do) like to search my name on occasion. Because TBN is FAR to busy for me to catch every thread, I like searching my name to see if I come up if someone mentioned me in a thread. Like "ask so and so" or "so and so should be along shortly". There are several threads that I have missed where I was mentioned to be asked for advise, but I have found them by searching my name.:thumbsup:

I gave up searching for dates, now I am just gonna stay single, its heI_I_ to get old n fugly

Thank you very MUCH for all the new smilies. I know that there are times when people can get carried away with using them, but they do help out in expressing tone or mood or even facial expressions.

They do not work for me at all, any of them. Not with a single click, not with double clicking, nothing. It just worked. :cool2:

Are you guys not getting the pic when you click, just the emoticon? Then in the preview it shows the actual smilie. The emoticon shows up with either a single or double click. Either way, I'm happy that they are now working.
