hey guys i need some exuses for me to get my dad to buy a front end loader for my tractor even though we dont need one

I stand in the FEL with a pole chainsaw and have my son drive me to the low growing/dead tree branches to cut them. There too tall for me to reach with the pole chainsaw but the FEL get's me right up there. Endless uses for a FEL. I can't imagine having a tractor without one.

Loaders are great for many, many things.

However, you don't need and excuse. You need to pay for it yourself. Just a dad of 4 kids opinion.

Two words: pallet forks. Yeah, the bucket is great, don't get me wrong, but pallet forks are where it's at. Go get you a bunch of pallets and start cleaning up all your crap! It'll totally change the way you run your farm, estate, whatever. Forks are also great for moving logs/trees and big piles of brush.

I have the 200cx loader on my 2520 and bought a set of Artillian forks with 42" forks. VERY reasonably priced, VERY well built, and Chris (owner, manufacturer) is an awesome guy to work with - stands behind his products 100%.

Very first task I used my forks for was to lift my almost new riding mower into the back of the pickup truck of the guy that bought it. The second task was lifting my almost new walk-behind snowblower for the same reasons.

:)

I use my forks ALL the time. My wife was totally confused as to why I bought the forks. She now regularly says "you use those things all the time, don't you?" every time I do something outside with them.

It's MUCH easier to stack loose branches / limbs on forks than trying to stuff them in a bucket. And I stack all of my firewood on pallets and move it around like that as well. I also lift my mowing deck with the forks to clean it underneath, check the blades, and even sharpen them. I'll be using them to move the snowmobiles now too, and put them up off the ground for storage. The uses are endless.

It is great for lifting concrete mix into the mixer, moving mulch around the yard, moving top soil into the wife's raised flour bed, putting sand into the grand daughters sand box, lifting the garbage cans into the pickup truck, attaching the rake to the front end and raking the field, putting the wood fired pizza oven onto the deck........I could go on all night. I love my FEL ... My Kubota would be naked without it!

Oddly enough... I use mine load and unload stuff. Tonight, it was instrumental in the unloading the No. 7 backhoe I purchased from a CraigsList ad.

For a minute I thought I had just witnessed the rigging of a backhoe to a front end loader
