those 8.5" floppies could be made to run on a pc platform with a chopped cable and an external drive controller card and the drivparam program included with MSDOS..

I loved old iron I rememebr an old sperry system I had.

we played around with a ibm system 36 and an old wang mainframe too. had a 'desktop' running cpm before a pc..

My first real computer was a Sperry/Univac UYK-20 with 64K of toroidial core memory... My first personal computer was a Compaq64. I wrote Jumpman levels plus I also wrote my seperation agreement on it in the process of my first divorce...

macbook and kubota L2800 and L48

One thing I seemed to notice was way more macs on here than there in general population, have not counted but it seems like 40 or more % on here and I think macs are under 10% market share still??
