I'm totally impressed by the variety of stuff here... Linux, Hackintosh, etc. Totally goes against the perception of the typical tractor owner by most of the manufacturers.

For what its worth, Custom built PC and HP 13" Probook. I'm due for a new computer, but loath the work it takes to "move".

No Tractor at Home. I have a 36" Ferris Commercial Walk Behind. At one point I did own a Kubota G2160R48S... a super unique, very awesome garden tractor. However we moved to a home with a 1/3 acre yard and it was too much.

A custom built computer and I work for HP. It's a Asus P5ne-sli with a Overclocked 2.3ghz E6550 Duo cpu with 4 gig of memory, 2 Nvidia GT9600 GPU graphic cards with 3 monitors on the two cards running SLI mode - with 4 hard drives all capable OS's from XP, Vista, to Win 7 - the 4th drive is waiting for Win 8 to be released and currently backs up the other partitions.

My Tractors are more simple. A FarmPro 2420 2wd in use at "the farm" for grass cutting duties on 25ac - A Ford 1900 with a 72" finish mower at home for the 4+ ac I cut here. A 72' Cub Cadet, a Craftsman LT1000 for cutting around the house and barn at the farm, a Craftsman Professional 24hp for the wife to cut with around home, a Steiner 420 as the home tractor backup, and snow clearing duties with a rotary brush and blade. The tractors are fun to use as long as I don't have to fix them too often ! Especially the chinese one. It's a PIA (but works as needed mostly).

Steve

PS. This is my backup computer.

I see no correlation either. Thanks all who took the time to respond. If any advertisement about tractors is directed at certain computer owners it would be frivolous. I would like to see how an Apple tractor would look like.

macbook and kubota L2800 and L48

One thing I seemed to notice was way more macs on here than there in general population, have not counted but it seems like 40 or more % on here and I think macs are under 10% market share still??
