There is an additional steel line to make the kits work together. LVA16893 for the cab tractor and LVA16839 for the open station. Attached pic of changes.

I installed the LVA16893 line and all is perfect! Thanks. Next problem. I got the power beyond kit to install now and I have the same issue. The kit would work great if I didn't have the 3rd, 4th & 5th kits installed. The lines supplied are for a bare tractor without any additional service valves. JD110 would you happen to have another diagram?
Thanks again JD110. Just thought I would toss up a picture of it all assembeled. You part numbers were perfect fit.

Have you played with the 485 yet? I've considered getting one, I just want to make sure it is a "real" backhoe. I wonder if JD will ever offer a hydrulic thumb. I'm curious to see what you come up with.
Yes, I have played a bit. I dug a 40' trench (seen in pics) it's about 4 1/2' deep at one end and tapers down to nothing on the other. The gas company had flagged a gas line crossing about 1/2, but no reference as to how deep it was. I put in a 16" culvert. The whole thing took me about 3 1/2 hours, including digging near the gas line by hand with a spade, and buring the whole thing when done. It's a pretty decent back hoe. My biggest complaint is I am used to the ISO pattern, so the dipper and the boom are backwards for me. It's hard to teach an old dog to change. I'll post something when I get the thumb on and running.
