I guess what I ment was that the controls for the FEL are attached to the loader and some of the others are on the tractor closer to you. Just ergo for me, I guess.

Oh, the controls, Gotcha.

The Grand Ls' have the joy stick down by the seat, I believe. I personally like the old school, like on the Ls'.

One thing I Really like, is how easy the Bota FEL comes off and goes on! Super quick and easy!

I was looking for something capable to round bails also but went with the MX5100 Kubota - little bigger, bit more basic but the price is very close to what you want to spend.
The Kio.ti also seems like a nice machine for the price if you have good dealers around

The L series has a problem with the 3 point hitch jerkin up or down with a load on. Some not all do this.If you want to buy a L series machine test it before you buy.

I think you named the best tractor so far, the MX5100. It is large, heavy, has a strong loader at a affordable price.

if i were you i wouldnt get an l3800 they are toys i had one traded off on an 7040su kubota this tractor is 5 times of the l3800 i can move enough dirt in 45 mins with it compared to 5 hrs with the l3800 it will lift my 3500hd rear off the ground no problem it digs dirt with a smooth 6 foot bucket likes there no tommorrow
