Each individual make and model may need it's own thread, but I can tell you that the set up on the Kubota B26 MAKES NO SENSE at all. If you have never driven one, please don't try and tell me different. In my travels, I have been to many Kubota dealers, and I always try to remember to ask the salesman the same question. I say "can you please tell me how to use the split break system on a 2010 B26?" Most of them just put their hands up, turn their heads, and say " I honestly have no idea".
I like Kubota, and have yet to need to use the split braking system, but please don't try and tell me things like, "you need to use both feet on the right side", or "you need to use the break and hydo pedal with the same foot" that's just plain silly. I have a size 13 foot and I cant do it. The split brake on the B26 is as useless a system as I have ever seen. You can make up as many reasons as you want, to explain how it can be utilized, but it can't. I honestly don't care how many tractors you have owned or how much experience you have, this system on the B26 DOES NOT WORK.
