Car crushing with tractor

Hard to tell what kind of farming he may have been doing with that tractor.

Did you ever wonder where the other four cars were that didn't get crushed? Maybe they were being used by the deputies while they were out on the road fighting crime. Several police stations are not manned 24/7, so there may not have been anyone there at the time the criminal mischief occurred. Just a thought.....

If he was caught 2 miles away from the incident, then unless there are witnesses or he admitted his guilt, he will probably walk away from this.

He's not going to walk. A neighbor called the police to tell them there was a guy in a tractor crushing their cars. The police chased him on foot down the road while he drove away. After about 2 miles he got out of the tractor and tried to run away, he didn't make it very far. They have him dead to rights. His lawyer is trying to say the act of crushing all the cars should count as one, good luck with that.
Personally I can't believe anyone would defend him publicly. What he did was turn a problem into a huge problem. He "borrowed" the tractor from relatives or the family farm. The owners will be lucky if they don't impound the tractor. They're also lucky that the cops didn't have to disable the tractor to stop him. I doubt insurance would replace an engine block with bullet holes in it and with about a month to go before harvest I doubt the farm could be without the tractor.
If you check on this guy you can easily find that he has 17 misdemeanor convictions and 7 failure to appear in courts. The guy is nothing more than a small time lowlife who just broke into the big time. He will get about 5 years in jail instead of another slap on the wrists. If he thought the police were watching him before wait until he gets out of jail. A guy this stupid will violate probation and get sent back to jail.
