WM had a roll back sign on Sea Foam so I guess it is $7.97 now.

For the longest I could only find it at NAPA but the current owners to it to many retailers.

i see wm is now carrying an stp product.. about 3-4$ per can. I requested a msds... i bet it turns out to be a similar mineral oil / naptha / alcohol, type mix... or something along those lines.... just cheaper . w'll see when the msds arrives.. :)

Instead of adding Seasuds just add IPA to the fuel tank to absorb water and dissolve gum. Then again today's gasoline does not leave deposits like leaded road has did 30+ years ago.

I saw that at WM the other night setting next to the Sea Foam. Thanks for digging into the details and let us know what you fine.

Nothing that I have tried works better than Sea Foam for the price yet the same results at 50% less would be of HIGH interest to me. :)

A lot of Sea Foam is being sold at $60-70 a gallon so it may have caught the attention of the company owning the STP brand today. Reverse mixing the chemicals would be a very LOW brainer.

i bought some.... havn't used it yet...

i wonder how it prevents rust in the fuel system without an alcohol addative to dewater...
Diphenylamine i don't think is water soluable... ?

Does not sound like bad stuff but still looking for it automotive uses info.

Diphenylamine is used as a pre- or postharvest scald inhibitor for apples. Its anti-scald activity is the result of its antioxidant properties, which protect the apple skin from the oxidation products of alpha-farnesene during storage.

Did find the below use for Motor Oils

http://www.lubrizol.com/CorporateResponsibility/DiphenylamineAntioxidants.html

Does it antioxidant properties keep fuel from aging as fast?

It seems to be missing the light oil in Sea Foam which is about the only thing that does not burn off when Sea Foam is used in the crankcase if I remember correctly.
