All that pretty, new, really clean wood..... be a shame to get it dirty. You can always send it to me and I'll take good care of it for you!

Very nice

I know. I'll have to be very gentle when I carefully set each piece of firewood into the hauler. Maybe if I individually "bubble wrap" each piece of wood it will save the nice clean wood....lol

I had a similar design for a skid steer. It would have the skid attachment on it and have holes for shovels, rakes etc. flat area for fuel cans chains saws blowers. A place for chains, 5 Gal of water & Ice. gloves, goggles, first aid kit etc. Like a job box of sorts. Something I can hook up to with all the tools I need, drop it off in the field, and change to a bucket.

Now all I need is the time and energy to pull it off.

That sounds like it would be the "ultimate" set up. Maybe make room for a big fluffy Lazyboy recliner and a beer cooler in there also.....

I too built one to carry firewood and job supplies- couple of extras I put on mine include casters, 2" pipes to hold shovels. picks etc, an axe scabbard and hooks to hold logging tongs and chains. It is what is usually on the tractor until the snow flies.
The beer cooler and Lazyboy would need screening and a roof so I have not gotten atround to those yet:thumbsup:

The screen would be a great add. And ear muffs to block out the sound of the wife yelling to come back home. Since we're at it.....how about a generator to keep the beer cold and to work the microwave? I guy does have to eat......

The "job supplies" aspect is why I built a removable carry-all for my carry-all.

Today I had my first try out for the "carry all"IMG_0842.JPGIMG_0841.JPG. It i worked perfectly along with the Kioti tractor. I know these logs weren't the biggest but the 3 point lifted it with no problem. The front end didn't seem light and there was no logs in the FEL. The best part is my welds held up to the weight. ( I'm not a welder)

That's a good looking carrier. Tell me what you used for the metal FRAME? I want to build one too. I have a FEL but if it's truly loaded the rear end is light, this box loaded would balance a loaded FEL. Good Work. BTW, I used to jog with your lab's twin back in 1967.

The angle I used is 3" x 3". I just happened to have some in the garage. The wood I used was pressure treated deck planking. 1" x( I think ) 6 1/4"
