That is what the OP says. I assume "main index" means the number that is displayed when you click FORUMS then HOMEPAGE? Dunno what a "post ID' is.

If you click on the post number in the top right corner of your post, the number at the end of the address (3000519 in your post) is the unique post id.

Sort of. That number minus the number of deleted posts is what the "official count" is based off of.
