I have a pressure gauge that says torque converter would that be hooked to the charge pump? If so mine does the same as yours with shifting and starting until after about 45 mins of run time then it starts to lose pressure and slip but i can let it idle for a minute or two and pat the accelerator and itll jump back up to normal pressure but it continues to lose when it gets hot. The transmission pressure gauge also loses pressure same as torque converter when it gets hot.
I had a transmission to would quit pulling after 30 to 45 minutes when it got hot. Turned out one of the cooling lines coming from the transmission to the radiator was clogged and not letting the cooled trany fluid return to transmission. Ran perfect after I blew the line out then I ran it 5 or 6 hours straight none stop pulling and pushing.

Hole in cylinder wall from cavitation, sleeve seal leaking, cracked block, best thing I have found is pull oil pan and pressurize the coolant.

I have a 70s case 450B, my charge pump went out, replaced it with a aftermarket one found the pump was pushing trans fluid into motor, i have replced the pump 3 different times still same problem. it drains my transmission dry withend 30 minutes into the engine.
