Dodge does not make trucks anymore, it is now a Ram.
I get 11-12 mpg on my 2011 cummins. You would have to really be babying it to get 14 mpg average. Blame it on the giant soot scrubber tank they put in line of the exhaust I guess. Well at least you don't need def
Nah, no need. No DEF here. I'll just keep my old diesels. You should start developing diesel-scented candles, aerosols and such for the people who will need their whiff of the good old days. You could offer it "classic" and "low sulfur", or with "blow-by" or without. . .
I don't look at as buying a Dodge. I bought a Cummins with a Dodge wrapped around it:laughing:
I have a '96 Dodge 2500 12-valve Cummins that has me worried. I only have 380k miles on it and I'm afraid it's trade-in value isn't gonna be much when I decide to get some other truck. Just because it starts perfectly and gets 22 mi per gallon is no sign that it'll do that at 500k miles. Sure, I haven't ever had to do anything to the engine except replace a leaking valve cover gasket, but it does need a new paint job on the cab roof and hood. Why is it that the original paint can't hold up more than 16 years? How oh how will I ever get my money's worth out of this truck?:confused2:
I do drive for mileage and with my 2012 long bed 6.7 I routinely get 14.5 to 15.5 MPG around town and 17 to 18 on highway
Besides, if you drive a Dodge, you better get used to it.
