Tractor Sizing 3320 or 3520

So I am getting real close on pulling the trigger on a used 3520 with 320 hours or a 3320 with 223 hours.PRice is pretty similar (3520 is $1k more) Both are open, no a big fan of cabs. Has anyone else compared these two. IS the power difference between the two that noticeable? Most of what i will be doing is running a bush-hog in grass and in the woods?

Thoughts? I'm really having a tough time deciding because they are both in good shape, but $1k, is still a decent amount of money. I guess is is coming down to whether the power difference is that noticeable.

One thing to add, I already have a 5303 with a loader that I pull at 10' bush hog with. I just need something smaller to get around object and in tighter places.

Without a cab, I think the 3320 is fine...with the added weight and power requirements of the cab's I think they are a bit underpowered.

i agree. I bought a cab tractor and the only reason i went with the 3520 over the 3320 was power issues with the air conditioner running while mowing uphill with tall grass with a 72 inch mower and extra weight. Doesnt seem like this will be your issue so i would most definately go with the non turbo 3320 in your situation. Plus you wont have to worry about any added problems that may arise in the furture due to turbo applications

I can't say much for cab models, but with my open station 3320 (power reverser), I find I run out of traction (filled tires) before I run out of power.

I would look both of the tractors over and try to decide which was in better condition, that is the one I would buy.

I agree, even though I have a 3520 my bro down the road has a 3320. I don't think you will notice a difference until you get to the top of the power curve, but you already have a larger tractor. 1k seems like the right difference in price. Get the one in better shape.

I had a 3320 O/S and upgraded to a 3320 CAB. For my uses, which may vary from yours, I see no difference in performance.

Buy whichever one will make you happy. They are both good machines.
