Gas prices again, What's the price in your area for unleaded? What's happening?

Regular unleaded is $2.98 lowest now and bought diesel for $3.56...from Murphy/Walmart this week...actually it is $.10 more there, but if you pay with a gift card then they knock a dime off. I bought 120 gallons, so purchase of gift card saved me $12 immediately. I'm tanking up, literally, filling my overhead tank anticipating price increase.

Mineola, TX yesterday topped off for $2.88/gal. Better but not great.

Midland, Mi
They had no diesel there.
prices are alway higher here.

Heck even the Quarter car wash is close to $2 for 3 minutes:confused3:

Even the dollar store changed their name to the dollar tree.

I bought gas in Ladysmith, VA last night for $3.07/gal. Prices were about $0.30 more 60 miles North in Fairfax, VA closer to DC.

Hey! I live near there! You were at the Citgo... Down RTE 1 at the independant guy it is $0.01 cheaper...

My wife was down near you on the north side of Richmond (Mechanicsville, near the TSC) caring for her Mom who is having some issues... I suggested she check the truck stops at exit 104 and BINGO she got Unleaded on the way home earlier this evening for $2.99! WOO HOO!

I agree with SShaw, gas in Reston/Chantilly areas where I tend to go is MUCH HIGHER...

I saw prices within 10 miles of my house for regular gas at $3.099 and $2.929 and several in between those. Incidentally, there's a place where those two extremes are within a couple of hundred yards of each other.
