Would you help your soon-to-be-ex wife or not?

First of all, I think that it would be beneficial to you by helping her and providing this service. In this way, you can have her personally sign for all items delivered and the condition that they were in. I'm sincerely sorry for your current situation. This comes from the "Very Bottom Of My HEART And SOUL". Best wishes. BTW, Life goes on. Please remain strong.
i 2nd jd sorry for the split but you will never go wrong helping weather it be your x wife or best friend and i am sure you will feel better when it's over you did what you could just remember what goes around comes around good luck.

Firstly: do you have any children with her? Grown or not if you want to see them and remain on good terms you have to treat their mother as good as possible. Been there and I know. Besides, you cant tell what can happen in the future. You wouldnt be the first one to remarry their x after a couple years of being apart. Sometimes thats what it takes to fix the problems that exist. You build a lot in twenty years. Hopefully, it wasnt all bad. Man up! Help her despite the temptation to be hateful. You can always ask where her helpful loving brothers are! :)

How much stuff are we talking? Me I'd help just to be over and done with it and move on. The other thing is, if finances allow, hire a moving company to move her stuff.

hmm -- If I had a choice - I'd be helping. why? this way, I can double check what is being taken, and with me helping, the faster the lady is out of my life. Its not a question of why should I if she didnt lift a finger - its HOW can I protect myself.

However -- If I am so inclined doing it my way- I would be cleaning out the garage or something and packing up her stuff and put it all in the garage saying --- THIS is YOUR stuff. garage door is not locked - but the house is with locks changed . get your stuff out by whatever date you pick like couple weeks or its going to goodwill to help MY taxes. Or rent one of those pods things under her name and pack her stuff in it. Let them take it away for you and you are all done.

Personally, I wouldn't...
At most, I'd pay (at least in part) for a mover to do the job...just to be rid of her.

I am sorry for what you are going through! I would be the bigger person and help her so that you may start the next chapter of your life sooner. On to bigger and better things.
